Testing Laboratory – Accreditation AB 065
The laboratory holds PCA accreditation No. AB 065, granted on 2 July 1996, confirming compliance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025. The scope includes mechanical, physical and chemical testing of pulp, paper, paperboard, packaging materials and packaging.

Scope of activity: Testing in accordance with national and international standards (PN, EN, ISO, TAPPI, SCAN, etc.) and proprietary test procedures.

Research Offer
Testing services provided include the following :

• Determination of physicochemical and mechanical properties of paper, board, tissue and fibrous pulps,
• Raw material and chemical composition analysis,
• Strength testing of transport packaging with contents (UN marking requirements),
• Determination of trace element content in paper and paper products,
• Assessment of optical properties of paper,
• Compliance testing for food contact materials (PN-P-50430, BfR XXXVI, RESAP(2001)2, CEPI),
• Compliance with PN-EN 71-3 (toy safety — migration of certain elements),
• Verification of compliance with Directive 94/62/EC,
• Testing of archival and document papers (PN-EN ISO 9706, PN-ISO 11108),
• Testing of paper and board packaging for document storage (PN-ISO 16245),
• Determination of TOX and TX indices (PN-ISO 11480:2002)*,
• Determination of AOX index (PN-EN ISO 9562:2007)*. Tests performed in the Biodegradation Laboratory.

Certification support
The laboratory supports product assessment and certification processes.
