The Transport Packaging Testing Laboratory is accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation in accordance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 for the testing of transport packaging.
The laboratory performs tests of packaging for the transport of dangerous goods in accordance with international regulations governing road (ADR), inland waterway (ADN), rail (RID), maritime (IMDG Code) and air transport (IATA-DGR). Organization of transport in accordance with international standards for the carriage of dangerous goods substantially mitigates the risks inherent to hazardous cargoes. Obtaining a positive test result constitutes the basis for packaging certification and authorizes application of the UN marking on certified packaging.

The Laboratory conducts certification tests for UN-marked packaging in accordance with ADR, ADN, RID, IMDG Code and IATA-DGR, including the following:

Testing of transport packaging,
Testing of intermediate bulk containers (IBCs),
Testing of large packaging.

The laboratory also performs tests for certification of packaging with the B safety mark, in accordance with the applicable technical assessment criteria.

Expert testing services include the following:

Verification of compliance of packaging with Polish and international standards,
Testing of packaging resistance to mechanical hazards during transport and storage,
Climatic testing of packaging (according to the client’s test programme).

Tests simulate real mechanical stresses occurring during transport, storage and handling, which are the primary causes of damage to packaging and its contents. Based on test results, the laboratory prepares technical reports and expert opinions supporting cargo safety and cost optimization in logistics systems.
