The Certification Department is responsible for certifying unit packaging, packaging materials and paper products. The Certification Department issues certificates for packaging used to transport dangerous goods (mandatory), child-resistant packaging, and packaging and packaging materials bearing the recycling symbol.
We certify materials and products by assessing their biodegradability, compostability and antimicrobial activity.
We provide educational services relating to the certification of packaging materials, packaging and other products, including the preparation and organisation of training courses, seminars and conferences.
Since 1993, the Packaging Certification Department has held PCA accreditation No. AC 016 in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17065:2013-03 standard. It is an impartial and independent product certification body, ensuring the confidentiality of information obtained during the certification process and the supervision of certificates.

- assessment of compliance with the requirements of normative documents (voluntary)
- UN certification for packaging used in the transport of dangerous goods: ADR, ADN, RID, IMDG Code, IATA DGR (mandatory)
